Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers understand bicycles more clearly: how a design works, what distinguishes two options, or how an idea in cycling developed. Send proposals through the Contact page; a pitch is not a promise of publication.
What makes a useful pitch
Name the subject, the reader’s likely question and the central point your piece would explain. Tell us what is distinctive about your approach, what sources or material you would use, and where the limits of the explanation lie. A focused proposal is more useful than a broad topic label.
The work we seek
We are interested in accurate, self-contained writing about bicycle design, components, riding gear, routine care and cycling history. Pieces should explain rather than promote, make meaningful comparisons and avoid treating one reader’s circumstances as universal.
Originality and evidence
Send work that you have the right to offer and identify any relevant interests or commercial connections. Do not present unsourced claims, invented testing or professional qualifications you do not hold. We may ask for clarification or revisions before considering a contribution.
How to send a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a working title, a short outline and a brief note about your relevant experience or sources. Please do not send confidential personal information.
Know what the choice actually changes.
Cycling products often come wrapped in confident claims. We separate the function from the pitch, explain trade-offs plainly and leave room for different needs.
