Editorial policy
United Cycling Review aims to make bicycle subjects clear without overstating what is known. Our editorial work values accurate descriptions, visible distinctions between fact and opinion, and corrections when something is wrong.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual claims against reliable material appropriate to the subject and explain technical terms when they first matter. We do not imply that a general article can diagnose a particular bicycle or replace qualified help for safety-critical work. Where evidence is uncertain or a claim depends on context, we say so.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. A partner cannot buy a favourable review or determine our conclusions. We do not invent testing, personal experience, credentials, sources or affiliations.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the article title, the passage and any useful supporting detail. We review credible reports and correct material when warranted; significant changes should be made clear to readers.
Paid and partner material
Paid placements and partner contributions are clearly labelled where they appear and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. A commercial relationship does not count as evidence for a product claim.
Know what the choice actually changes.
Cycling products often come wrapped in confident claims. We separate the function from the pitch, explain trade-offs plainly and leave room for different needs.
